Live Cooking- Buffet

The popular live-cooking buffet awaits with soup, appetizers, vegetarian dishes, fish, meat, sushi and sides as well as desserts. Simply tasteful.

Japanese specialities

Enjoy the best sushi as a complement to the buffet as a delight for both the eyes and the palate. Sake don, sashimi, soups, salads and other Japanese delicacies are always freshly prepared. This can mean some waiting time in certain situations. The Japanese master chefs create the dishes live before the eyes of his guests in the Gutshof restaurant. The high quality and freshness of our ingredients have even found enthusiastic fans in Düsseldorf’s Japantown.

We are a Bio Hotel as a matter of conviction. Up to 100% of our ingredients and produce is organically cultivated. Drinks as well as dishes. Healthy breakfast buffet

A healthy start to the day with, for example, whole-food bread, freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juices, house-smoked salmon, eggs from happy hens, homemade spreads, our own fruit mueslis and jams or vegan oatmeal. Yummy health.

Sunday brunch

Both early-risers and long-sleepers come together for a breakfast/lunch on Sundays between 12 noon and 2:30pm. The popular live-cooking buffet is there as usual, offering soups, starters, vegetarian dishes, fish, meat, sushi, side dishes, desserts and cheese. On Sundays, we also add scrambled eggs, cold cuts, jams and other breakfast elements. Naturally in the top organic quality expected of us. From €45 Reservations are required.

DRY-AGED GALLOWAY-RIND

The meat of the Galloway bull, reared in the Neanderland region under high animal welfare standards, is ready to enjoy once it has optimally matured. The natural dry-ageing process with wild herbs ensures a unique texture and taste.

Do you have more questions about your visit to our restaurant or our services? Below we have put together some FAQ and answers for you. Have a look and maybe you’ll find the answer you’re looking for there.

In the interests of planning reliability for both you and us, we recommend making an online enquiry, since we enjoy a high level of demand at weekends, too. We’ll respond as soon as we can.

We do our best to satisfy the wishes of every guest but things can change or be delayed at short notice. For this reason, we cannot promise specific tables. However, we will try and take your wishes into account.

Sushi is created live every evening from 6pm to 9:30pm by the Japanese master chefs. It can be ordered à la carte at this time. We also offer a small selection of sushi at our buffets.

The tables in the Gutshof restaurant are arranged for up to 5 guests. If you would like to come as a group of 6 or more, we’ll arrange a suitable constellation of tables for you in an exclusive area. This may involve a room charge.

In line with our orientation, we keep the decorations natural and discreet. The wooden tables are not covered with tablecloths and have a small candle light. If you wish other decorations, we can recommend our florist, Mensch in Mettmann.
